Maintenance Personnel

About the role

The Teestone Hotel and Apartment is seeking a reliable Maintenance Personnel to ensure the smooth operation of its facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and all mechanical systems, providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, guest rooms, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues in guest rooms and common areas promptly.
• Respond to emergency repair situations and maintenance requests.
• Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, locks, and other property.
• Monitor water, power, air‑conditioning, and generator systems.
• Maintain clean and organized tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Assist with renovations, installations, and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with external contractors when necessary and report major issues to management.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness for manual tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
