Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our spa facilities in Lagos. The role ensures all building systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all facilities.
• Lead maintenance staff and external contractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain building assets including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators and water‑treatment systems.
• Develop and control the maintenance budget, tracking expenditures and optimizing resource use.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards through inspections and policy implementation.
• Keep accurate maintenance records, schedules and performance reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimise operational disruptions and respond promptly to service requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3‑5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, water treatment and fire protection.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning, asset preservation and contractor management.
• Good understanding of occupational health and safety and fire safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, budgeting and project‑management abilities.
