Logistics Coordinator

About the role

CDL is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee material and equipment movement on a high‑density construction site in Lagos. You will be the central point of contact for all deliveries, crane scheduling and traffic management, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruption to ongoing works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the site delivery booking system, ensuring all material deliveries are pre‑booked to avoid gate congestion.
• Coordinate daily tower crane and mobile crane schedules with Zone Construction Managers, Programme and MEP Managers.
• Allocate and monitor on‑site storage zones by material type, guaranteeing safety and accessibility.
• Synchronise wet‑room and bathroom unit deliveries with procurement and crane operators.
• Implement and supervise the site traffic management plan, working closely with security on gate control.
• Oversee plant movements, including crane repositioning, plant hire deliveries and temporary works equipment.
• Track material wastage, theft or damage and report to the Construction Manager.
• Maintain an accurate delivery record log.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of site logistics or construction management experience on multi‑building projects.
• Strong understanding of crane operations and tower crane scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage logistics on fast‑track, high‑population construction sites.
