Lead Consultant – Marketing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Consultant to drive end‑to‑end marketing operations engagements for our clients in Lagos. You will own the full client lifecycle, from diagnostic assessment through implementation and handover, ensuring sustainable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete client engagement lifecycle, managing diagnostics, implementation, handover and post‑engagement validation.
• Manage and develop the consulting team, delegating tasks, providing guidance and maintaining quality standards.
• Build and refine PeopleLab’s diagnostic and implementation frameworks, document best practices and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Identify expansion opportunities, contribute to proposals, and create thought‑leadership content such as case studies and articles.
• Maintain client relationships, set expectations, navigate organisational resistance and ensure satisfaction with scope and deliverables.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing management or consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record leading marketing teams, building and scaling marketing functions, and designing efficient workflows.
• Experience delivering measurable improvements and managing complex client projects.

Required skills

• Implementing marketing performance measurement systems (dashboards, KPIs).
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate complex issues into actionable insights.
