Kitchen Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily operations at our Shaqspace Restaurant in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The role combines hands‑on food production oversight with staff leadership, ensuring high‑quality meals and efficient kitchen performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and overall restaurant food production.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff.
• Plan and execute menu preparation processes.
• Ensure strict food hygiene and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste.
• Maintain and service kitchen equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on meals before service.
• Collaborate with management on menu improvements and costing.
• Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and efficient.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Chef.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
