Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our fast‑paced kitchen team in Victoria Island, Lagos. You will support chefs and kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients.
• Assist with stock handling and inventory management.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen operations during peak times.
• Perform other kitchen‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel or catering environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

What we offer

• Salary: NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month
