About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role offers hands‑on experience in core accounting functions within the tourism and travel sector.
Key responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate recording of business transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain and update general ledgers and financial databases.
- Assist senior staff in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow and income statements.
- Process employee expense reports and support basic payroll preparation.
- Gather documentation and provide administrative support for internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: HND.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role.
