IT Support Engineer – Lagos

About the role

Solpia Nigeria Ltd. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its Lagos office. The role focuses on maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network connectivity, and providing technical assistance to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage network and internet connectivity, including switches, routers and firewalls.
• Administer system and user accounts, email services, cloud storage and remote access solutions.
• Maintain CCTV, access‑control and biometric attendance devices.
• Perform routine hardware maintenance and oversee software/application updates.
• Document incidents, produce reports and assist with ERP/website maintenance.

Required profile

• HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Network management and internet troubleshooting.
• System administration (Windows OS, email, cloud services).
• Hardware maintenance and peripheral device support.
• CCTV, access‑control and biometric attendance systems.
• Basic cybersecurity and data protection practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
