IT Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking an energetic IT Sales Executive to drive new business and expand our client base in the Lagos market. You will combine technical knowledge of IT solutions with strong sales acumen to match customers’ needs and achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
• Generate qualified leads, convert them into customers and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Understand client business requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demos, quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and manage the sales pipeline from lead to closure.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of B2B sales experience in the IT or technology sector.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud solutions.
• Understanding of networking technologies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.
• Experience with software solutions and managed IT services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CRM tools.
