Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer will oversee the production and inventory processes for our fashion and FMCG lines, ensuring efficient operations and high quality standards. This role combines inventory control with hands‑on production supervision to meet customer expectations and company targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the production process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Supervise and train a team of tailors and production staff, evaluating performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished garments to meet customer and company requirements.
• Create and manage patterns, markers, and grading for accurate cutting.
• Oversee fabric selection, ordering, and inventory to minimise waste and maintain stock levels.
• Interact with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate production schedules, set deadlines, and allocate tasks.
• Identify and resolve production issues such as fabric defects or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain sewing machines and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety protocols.
• Meet production targets and timely order completion.
• Collaborate with designers to translate design requirements into production.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, techniques, and industry developments.
• Identify training needs and develop team skills.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar inventory or production role.
