Inventory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory strategy and operations for our manufacturing and warehousing business in Lagos. The role will ensure optimal stock levels, accurate data, and seamless coordination across procurement, sales, and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business objectives and luxury retail standards.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations, monitor slow‑moving and obsolete stock, and recommend liquidation or redeployment actions.
• Oversee stock movement, replenishment cycles, and inventory turnover, managing transfers between stores and warehouses.
• Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring data integrity in the ERP system.
• Generate, analyze and present inventory reports, tracking metrics such as turnover, fill rate, shrinkage and holding costs.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, Finance and Store Operations to align planning and resolve critical stock shortfalls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Proven ability to develop inventory policies, manage stock accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory tracking and reporting.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary between NGN 600,000 and NGN 900,000.
