Insurance Sales Professional

About the role

The Insurance Sales Professional joins Heirs Insurance Group in Lagos on a full‑time, hybrid basis. You will be responsible for prospecting new clients, assessing their insurance needs, and recommending suitable general and life insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and conduct thorough needs assessments.
• Prepare and deliver tailored insurance proposals.
• Manage policy applications, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Provide responsive customer service and support policy renewals and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with brokerage, underwriting, and other internal teams.
• Meet defined sales targets and contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated proficiency in insurance sales with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and risk assessment.
• Experience working with insurance brokers or in brokerage environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work setting, managing time and priorities effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in basic office software and data entry.
