Information Technology Consultant (Level‑2 Support)

About the role

The U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) Nigeria is seeking an experienced Information Technology Consultant to provide Level‑2 support for its office staff. The consultant will deliver on‑site hardware and network maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable IT operations for a team of eight (with flexibility to scale).

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑2 IT support for USP Nigeria users.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and networking systems.
• Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
• Set up client computers, create new user accounts, and configure network access.
• Document procedures, hardware changes, and revisions.
• Test components to maintain system capability and perform data backup routines.
• Advise on procurement of technology resources and perform any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Level‑2 IT support in an office environment.
• Ability to work independently and respond to ad‑hoc service calls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
