HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function for BashleeNG, a construction company based in Lagos. The role will drive HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations and compliance to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and talent management processes.
• Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies and HR best practices.
• Supervise performance management systems and employee evaluations.
• Lead training and development programs to boost productivity.
• Manage compensation, benefits and payroll structures.
• Advise senior management on HR-related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.
