Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Kunbi Lagos Living Limited is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping department in Marina, Lagos. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high‑quality cleanliness in all hotel areas.
• Develop and implement procedures, schedules, and quality‑control measures.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to verify compliance with standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff; prepare duty rosters and manage manpower.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, amenities, and equipment.
• Manage laundry operations, handling linens and uniforms properly.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and service recovery promptly and professionally.
• Control departmental budgets and costs while maintaining service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience in a reputable hotel, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, laundry management, cleaning standards, and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and team‑management abilities.
• Professional appearance, strong attention to detail, and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
