House Master

About the role

The House Master provides pastoral care and supervision for students living on campus, ensuring a safe, disciplined, and nurturing residential environment. This full‑time position requires residing on site and acting as the primary point of contact for student welfare, behaviour, and daily needs.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a safe, disciplined, and nurturing residential environment for students.
• Serve as the main liaison for student welfare, behaviour, and daily needs with academic staff, parents, and school management.
• Organise and supervise house activities, study periods, and evening routines.
• Maintain accurate records of conduct, health concerns, and incidents.
• Enforce school rules, values, and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of experience working with children or young people in a school, residential, or welfare setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• High emotional maturity, integrity, patience, and willingness to reside on campus.
