Hotel Receptionist – Front Desk (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Teestone Hotel and Apartment in Lagos. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle guest check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations and modifications.
• Answer phone calls, emails and guest inquiries promptly.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
• Address guest requests, complaints and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems.
• Process payments, issue receipts and reconcile daily transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable.
• Monitor room availability and occupancy status.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 2 years) in front‑desk, receptionist or customer‑service roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good organizational, multitasking and problem‑solving skills.
• Conflict‑resolution capability.
