Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of our Restaurant/Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) outlet. The role works closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure excellent customer service, efficient operations, staff supervision, compliance with standards, and achievement of sales and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day restaurant operations.
• Supervise front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor daily sales performance and contribute to branch revenue targets.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and shift management.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels, stock requisition, and waste reduction.
• Oversee accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and operational readiness of the branch.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Stand in for the Branch Manager during their absence to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• HND/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in restaurant operations, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of the Odoo ERP software is preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
