Hotel Operational Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Hotel Operational Supervisor to oversee daily operations across all departments at our Lagos property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly resolve complaints.
• Monitor staff performance, enforce hotel policies, and assist with shift scheduling.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels, report operational needs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
• Support staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Assist revenue‑generating activities and help achieve occupancy and service targets.
• Handle emergencies and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
