Hotel Operation Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Hotel Operation Supervisor to oversee daily operations across all departments of Teestone Hotel and Apartment in Lagos. The role ensures exceptional guest experiences, smooth workflow, and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly resolve complaints.
• Monitor staff performance, enforce hotel policies, and assist with shift scheduling.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and quality.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels and report operational needs or shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to hotel management.
• Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Support revenue‑generating activities and help achieve occupancy and service targets.
• Handle emergencies and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum OND or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hotel management software (advantageous).
