Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead all daily operations of the hotel in Lagos, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient departmental performance. This senior role requires overseeing multiple teams, managing revenue, and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations and coordinate all departments.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve complaints promptly.
• Supervise, motivate and develop hotel staff while enforcing policies.
• Monitor room occupancy, bookings, revenue and operational performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability.
• Manage operational expenses and ensure cost efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and service delivery.
• Prepare and review operational and financial reports.
• Implement marketing and promotional initiatives to increase occupancy.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations and standards.

Required profile

• HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum age of 35 years.
• At least 4 years (48 months) of proven experience in hotel management or senior hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent financial, administrative and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operational issues.
• Organized, mature and detail‑oriented.
