Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Teestone Hotel and Apartment is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and critical building systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues promptly, including emergency repairs.
• Maintain furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, locks, and other hotel property.
• Monitor water, power, air‑conditioning, and generator systems.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Record all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist with renovations, installations, and facility improvement projects.
• Coordinate with external contractors when needed and report major issues to management.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in hotel or facility maintenance (approximately 2 years preferred).
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
