Hotel Housekeeper

About the role

Vistawood Hotel and Leisure is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain the high standards of guest rooms and public areas. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced hotel environment, ensuring every room is clean, well‑stocked and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards before release to reception.
• Replace toiletries, towels, linens and other supplies.
• Handle laundry and linen management.
• Report any maintenance issues or faulty equipment immediately.
• Document lost and found items accurately.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and forward major complaints to reception.
• Maintain professional hygiene and presentation at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE (WAEC, NECO or GCE) certificate.
• 1‑2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping or cleaning services.
• Basic literacy and ability to communicate in English.
• Physically fit, neat, well‑groomed and trustworthy.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Use of cleaning chemicals.
• Operation of housekeeping equipment.
