Home Tutor – Primary & Secondary Subjects in Lekki Phase 2

About the role

Tuteria is seeking a dedicated home tutor to provide in‑person lessons for three students in Lekki Phase 2, Lagos. The role covers primary and secondary levels, following the Nigerian curriculum, and requires teaching a range of subjects over a two‑week period.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2 hours of instruction each day, Monday to Friday, at the client’s residence.
• Prepare lesson plans for subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Math, Science, Phonics and Primary English/Math.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month tutoring experience.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian curriculum for primary, JSS and SSS levels.
• Ability to teach multiple subjects across primary and secondary grades.
• Flexible schedule to teach weekdays from 4 PM.

Required skills

• Subject‑specific knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Mathematics.
• Effective communication and lesson planning abilities.
