Home Tutor for Primary Students in Magodo, Lagos

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated home tutor to provide personalized lessons for two primary‑school children in Magodo, Lagos. The tutor will work on‑site at the client’s residence, delivering focused instruction in mathematics, English, and basic sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 2‑hour tutoring sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4:00 PM.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with the Nigerian Curriculum for Primary 2 and Primary 4 levels.
• Assess each child’s progress and adapt teaching methods to improve academic performance.
• Motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience teaching primary‑level students, preferably with knowledge of the Nigerian education system.
• Ability to work independently at the client’s home.
• Flexible schedule to meet the specified days and times.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Basic Mathematics.
• Strong command of English Language.
• Understanding of Basic Sciences concepts.
