HMO Officer

About the role

The HMO Officer will coordinate healthcare services and manage HMO‑related activities for our clients. This position ensures accurate processing of medical claims and smooth communication between clients, providers and management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HMO activities and coordinate healthcare service delivery.
• Process, review and monitor medical claims for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers.
• Handle client inquiries and provide timely support on HMO services.
• Verify claim documentation and ensure proper authorisation.
• Maintain accurate records of claims, approvals and transactions.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare reports on HMO activities and claim performance.
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an HMO, claims or healthcare insurance role.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
