Head of Operations

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead day‑to‑day activities across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, ensuring efficient and productive operations. Reporting to senior management, this role drives operational strategy, cost optimisation and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities and supervise operational teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Manage inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution processes.
• Ensure accurate stock control, inventory reconciliation and timely product availability.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance and warehouse teams for seamless operations.
• Drive cost optimisation while maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in building materials, construction, manufacturing, distribution or wholesale.
• Proven experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, logistics and supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between NGN 700,000 and NGN 900,000 per month.
