Head of Fixed Income

About the role

The Head of Fixed Income will lead the development and execution of fixed income investment strategies, overseeing a diverse portfolio of government securities, corporate debt, Eurobonds and money‑market instruments. This senior position reports to senior investment leadership and works closely with risk, compliance and client‑facing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement fixed income strategies aligned with client mandates and firm objectives.
• Manage portfolios across treasury bills, bonds, commercial papers, corporate debt and Eurobonds.
• Monitor performance against benchmarks, conduct portfolio reviews and recommend rebalancing.
• Perform macro‑economic, credit and market research to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop interest‑rate forecasts, yield‑curve analyses and investment outlooks.
• Execute trades, maintain relationships with brokers, banks and dealers, and ensure efficient settlement.
• Assess credit quality, monitor exposure to interest‑rate, liquidity and concentration risks, and conduct stress‑testing.
• Provide advisory services to institutional and high‑net‑worth clients, supporting business development and client meetings.
• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance and operations teams to launch new fixed income products.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in fixed income portfolio management or related investment roles.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic drivers, interest‑rate dynamics and credit analysis.
• Proven ability to develop and execute investment strategies across multiple fixed income instruments.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
