Head, Business Development

About the role

The Head of Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives for our real‑estate portfolio, driving market expansion, revenue generation and profitability. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the company’s acquisition strategy and oversee the performance of our property assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth strategies, identify new market opportunities and diversify the property portfolio.
• Conduct due diligence, evaluate and negotiate investment and acquisition deals.
• Oversee property maintenance, renovation, lease negotiations and vendor contracts while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and revenue planning; monitor KPIs such as occupancy, vacancy and conversion rates.
• Mentor and develop teams, aligning objectives with overall business goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders, upholding professionalism and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, Estate Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Completion of NYSC.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in insurance, financial services, real estate or property management.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
