Graduate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate with a mechanical engineering background to join our Lagos team. The role focuses on maintaining and improving mechanical systems that support our production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Operate lathe, rolling, milling, and forming machines during product manufacturing.
• Conduct routine inspections to detect and resolve potential mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new projects.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a hands‑on approach.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CNC operations.
• Experience with Lathe, Forming, Rolling, and Milling machines.
• Proficiency in engineering software and computer literacy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
