Front Desk Personnel

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Personnel to join our team at Teestone Hotel and Apartment in Lagos. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, handle check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the reservation system.
• Answer phone calls, emails and guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
• Address guest requests, complaints and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation data.
• Process payments, issue receipts and reconcile daily transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable.
• Monitor room availability and occupancy status.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience are welcome.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel management software.
