Front Desk Personnel

About the role

The Front Desk Personnel will be the first point of contact for guests at Teestone Hotel and Apartment, delivering warm hospitality and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations and modifications.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails and guest inquiries.
• Provide information on hotel services, facilities and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the reservation system.
• Process payments, issue receipts and reconcile daily transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Monitor room availability and occupancy status.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures and security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist or customer service role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
