Front Desk Officer

About the role

The Front Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for guests at Teestone Hotel and Apartment, delivering warm hospitality and efficient service. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes while supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures promptly.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the reservation system.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and in‑person inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide information on hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Address guest requests, complaints, and escalations as needed.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation data.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Monitor room availability and occupancy status.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in front‑desk, receptionist, or customer‑service roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel management software or reservation systems.
