Finance Officer

About the role

Tech1million Limited is seeking a diligent Finance Officer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of its financial operations as transaction volumes increase. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day financial tasks and support month‑end reporting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, organised financial records and support daily financial operations.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and track income, expenses, and cash flow.
• Prepare and update financial reports, flagging any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month‑end and reporting cycles, ensuring timely and precise data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align financial processes with business activity.

Required profile

• Background in finance or accounting, preferably with 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in fintech or banking operations is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to manage recurring reporting cycles.
• Progress toward ICAN/ACCA certification is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
