Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead all financial management, reporting and control functions for Katsu, a licensed micro‑finance bank. This senior position ensures accurate financial data, regulatory compliance and provides strategic insights to support the bank’s growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Produce timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and conduct variance analysis.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, reconciliations, postings and maintain a robust internal control environment.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure prompt resolution of audit queries.
• Manage liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting and treasury performance while meeting statutory liquidity ratios.
• Maintain relationships with correspondent banks and financial partners.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all CBN, NDIC, FIRS and other statutory returns.
• Monitor compliance with prudential guidelines, capital adequacy and other financial ratios.
• Provide strategic financial insights on profitability, cost optimisation and business performance.
