Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Planning

About the role

Finbloom Capital Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial reporting, budgeting and treasury functions. The role reports to senior management and plays a pivotal part in shaping the company’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and treasury activities.
• Ensure tax compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, corporate tax, pension) and handle statutory filings.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead the external audit process and implement audit recommendations.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, tax authorities and financial institutions.
• Review investment transactions and provide accurate accounting treatment.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop the finance team.
• Support executive management with strategic financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance management role.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to design and monitor internal controls.
