Finance Operations Manager – Fixed-Term (6 months)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our Nigeria Finance team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial accounting, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining robust control frameworks for our international TwiningsOvo brand.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, process payments, journal entries, GL reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
• Review and post AP/AR invoices, manage intercompany transactions, invoicing, payments and balance reconciliations.
• Monitor ledger health, aging balances, open payments and credit notes, investigating overdue items and assessing bad‑debt provisions.
• Prepare statutory reporting, trial balance and support internal/external audit activities.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers and asset tagging.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a degree (BSc/B‑Tech/HND).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in FMCG or a Big Four accounting firm.
• Strong commercial mindset with solid financial analysis and planning abilities.
• Proven experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders and managing people.
