Field Sales Representative

About the role

Softroleum Limited is seeking an energetic Field Sales Representative to promote Kingsmen Custard across Lagos markets. You will be the front‑line link between the brand and retailers, ensuring product visibility, driving orders and building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned sales routes daily to prospect, open and manage retail accounts.
• Introduce Kingsmen Custard to retailers, resellers, food vendors, schools and small distributors, explaining its carrot and soy positioning.
• Take orders, follow up on deliveries, support repeat purchases and collect payments according to company policy.
• Monitor product visibility, ensure proper display of posters, table cards and stands.
• Support market activation activities such as tasting sessions and retailer engagement events.
• Gather customer feedback, competitor pricing and market objections.
• Record daily visits, orders, payments, feedback and outlet status.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve weekly sales and outlet growth targets.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG or food products.
• Minimum HND qualification.
• Comfortable walking markets and visiting many shops each day.
• Persuasive, polite and confident when speaking with retailers.
• Honest, reliable and able to submit accurate daily reports.
• Good knowledge of Lagos trade routes is an advantage.
• Willingness to complete a short objective sales assessment.
