Field Officer

About the role

The Field Officer will support construction and real‑estate projects by monitoring site activities, ensuring quality standards, and facilitating communication between the office and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine visits to project sites to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to timelines.
• Inspect sites for compliance with approved specifications, company standards, and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Identify site challenges or delays and promptly escalate with recommendations.
• Monitor contractors, artisans, and vendors to ensure efficient and standard‑compliant work.
• Verify that completed work aligns with project plans and management expectations.
• Serve as liaison between office, sites, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure effective communication.
• Follow up on project milestones and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
• Verify delivery of construction materials against specifications and quantities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site inspection reports, including photographs and documentation.
• Report incidents, delays, quality concerns, and safety issues promptly to management.
• Accompany prospective clients, investors, and management on property inspections and provide accurate project updates.
• Ensure sites comply with company policies, operational procedures, and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 12 months of experience in construction or real‑estate site monitoring.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in Lagos and engage with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate reporting and documentation.
