Facility Manager

About the role

GTL Properties Limited is looking for a senior Facility Manager to lead the strategic planning, day‑to‑day operations and business development of its property portfolio in Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring facilities are safe, efficient, cost‑effective and aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic facility plans, policies and procedures to optimise asset utilisation and support business goals.
• Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements and ensure quality delivery.
• Prepare and control facility budgets, track expenditures, analyse cost variances and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Drive new business generation by researching prospects, preparing proposals and supporting tender processes.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining high service standards and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• At least 8 years (96 months) of experience in facility management or related fields.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, vendor management and business development.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
