Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager will oversee all building operations and maintenance for ACCL’s premises in Marina, Lagos. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that outsourced facility services meet quality standards, safety regulations, and cost‑efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the outsourced Facility Management company and monitor service delivery against SLAs.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑safety, elevators, generators, STP and water‑treatment systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of building and common areas to ensure functionality, cleanliness and safety.
• Review maintenance schedules, preventive‑maintenance reports and coordinate repairs or emergency responses.
• Monitor utility consumption and propose energy‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, service providers and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain facility records, reports and documentation; provide updates on ongoing projects.
• Manage tenant/occupant complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Estate Management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in facility management, building services or property operations.
• Prior experience in an MEP contracting or consultancy firm (mandatory).
• Strong technical knowledge of building services systems and facility operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance reports.
• Experience supervising outsourced facility providers and contractors.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and reporting skills.
