ERP Implementation Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated ERP Implementation Consultant to join Excellium in Lagos. The role involves working closely with clients in the education sector to configure, deploy and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage 200 Evolution solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through client workshops.
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage 200 Evolution, including system setup, data migration, testing and go‑live activities.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend ERP best practices and improvements.
• Provide end‑user training, create user documentation and deliver functional support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with technical consultants on customisations.
• Conduct system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support month‑end and year‑end ERP processes.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports and ensure delivery within agreed timelines.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Sage 200 Evolution.
• Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and core business processes (finance, procurement, inventory, sales, warehouse).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or within a team and travel to client sites when required.
