Electrical Engineer (Design & Supervision)

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specialized in design and site supervision to lead the electrical works for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves creating detailed electrical designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that installations on‑site meet all specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and ELV systems.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, calculations and load analyses, including cable, transformer and panel sizing.
• Ensure designs comply with IEE, IEC, BS and local regulations.
• Coordinate electrical design with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines and produce design reports, specifications and BOQs.
• Supervise on‑site electrical installations, conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
• Monitor contractor performance, review materials and methods for compliance, and resolve site‑related issues.
• Prepare site progress reports, snag lists and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building services and installations.
• COREN registration is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software/tools.
• Ability to perform load analysis and equipment sizing.
