Electrical Engineer – Contract (Lagos)

About the role

This contract position is for an on‑site Electrical Engineer based in Lagos, supporting the design, development and review of electrical systems for terminal and jetty projects. You will ensure reliable power distribution and equipment specifications while coordinating maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical system layouts, power distribution schemes and equipment specifications for client projects.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities at the jetty and terminals.
• Monitor utilization of maintenance equipment, reporting faults or irregularities promptly.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly maintenance reports for the Terminal Manager and Maintenance Lead.
• Assist in documentation, administrative support and progress tracking for engineering projects.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution.
• 4–6 years post‑NYSC experience in a similar role within a structured organization.
• Professional accreditation is an advantage.
