Dispatch Messenger

About the role

The Dispatch Messenger ensures timely and safe delivery of documents, parcels, food orders and guest requests for E‑direct in Lagos. Working on a dedicated motorcycle or delivery vehicle, you will support the company’s logistics operations while providing courteous service to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect documents, parcels, food orders and other items promptly, verifying details and obtaining proof of delivery when required.
• Plan efficient routes to minimise travel time and fuel costs, and maintain regular communication with supervisors about delivery status.
• Perform routine vehicle checks (tyres, brakes, lights, oil, fuel) and report any accidents, faults or maintenance issues.
• Handle company correspondence and official documents with confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage.
• Assist other departments with logistics and operational support as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar delivery or courier role.
• Ability to work independently, follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward customers.
