Dental Assistant – Clinical Support

About the role

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our EHA Clinics team in Lagos. The role supports dentists and dental therapists in delivering high‑quality dental care across our clinic and community outreach programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist during medical and dental emergencies.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x‑rays).
• Collect and record patients’ medical and dental histories, vital signs and treatment information.
• Provide post‑treatment oral care instructions and perform follow‑up calls.
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms, ensuring comfort before, during and after procedures.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and create custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Support dentists and dental therapists during patient consultations.
• Perform aseptic procedures, sterilize and disinfect instruments, and maintain infection‑control standards.
• Set up materials for all dental procedures and maintain equipment and supply inventory.
• Participate in voluntary community health activities to promote oral health.

Required profile

• At least one month of experience working as a dental assistant or in a related dental setting.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Lagos.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to patient comfort and safety.
