About the role
The Credit Officer will evaluate walk‑in loan applicants, process loan applications and disbursements, and manage borrower accounts. This role involves maintaining professional communication with clients to encourage timely repayments and supporting collection activities.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate walk‑in loan applicants and process loan applications and disbursements.
- Manage borrower accounts and conduct repayment follow‑ups.
- Maintain professional communication with clients to encourage timely repayments.
- Support collection activities remotely from the office and follow up on outstanding loan repayments.
- Maintain accurate daily records of loan applications, approvals, disbursements, and repayments.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Required profile
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar credit or loan processing role.
