Community Officer – Social Media & Football Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a football‑obsessed Community Officer to drive viral social media trends and turn casual app users into passionate fans. You will be the voice of the brand, creating and curating engaging content across X, Instagram and TikTok while fostering a lively online football community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute a dynamic content calendar for X, Instagram and TikTok.
• Create original football‑related posts, hot takes, trivia and banter that spark audience participation.
• Host live matchday sessions, fan contests, trivia challenges and giveaway events.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the community, responding to comments, handling inquiries and gathering feedback.
• Jump on breaking football news, local digital trends and viral moments to drive user acquisition and app downloads.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• 1–3 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation or community building.
• Deep knowledge of football culture, including European leagues, local Nigerian fan dynamics and street‑football banter.
• Strong copywriting ability with a distinct, relatable voice.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Canva for graphic design.
• Proficiency in CapCut for short‑form video editing.
