Casual Supply Chain Market Analyst – Sokoto

About the role

The Supply Chain Unit is looking for a Casual Worker to support regular market analysis activities in Sokoto. You will help maintain up‑to‑date price lists and ensure procurement decisions are based on reliable market data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular market surveys for goods and services across assigned categories.
• Collect, verify and analyse price information from local vendors, retailers, online platforms, NGOs and existing supplier networks.
• Update and maintain standardized price lists using approved templates.
• Compile market analysis documentation and deliver summary reports highlighting price trends.
• Validate purchase requisition unit costs against current market prices.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain quotations and market intelligence.
• Maintain organized records for audit and reference purposes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Economics or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in market analysis, price verification or market assessments, preferably in NGOs or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong data collection and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
