Business Operations Manager

About the role

The Business Operations Manager will oversee staff and maintenance across client locations, ensuring high‑quality cleaning services and safety compliance. This role combines operational planning, client liaison, and team leadership to drive efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cleaning operations, liaise with clients and ensure quality service delivery.
• Oversee staff, maintenance, and safety measures at all client sites.
• Facilitate budget planning and monitor financial flow of operations.
• Evaluate data to recommend improvements in cleaning processes.
• Develop and review operation plans to enhance procedures and service quality.
• Select and oversee equipment, technologies and supplies for project sites.
• Perform cleaning using ride‑on machinery and appropriate supplies as directed.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress, issues and solutions.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, briefings and training sessions.
• Manage incident and emergency investigations.
• Interview, hire and train new staff, conduct site inspections and resolve client issues.

Required profile

• HND/BSc degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the cleaning industry.
• Knowledge of various cleaning solutions and their applications.
• Ability to perform field work and handle fast‑paced environments.
• Strong leadership, project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication with suppliers and vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using ERP solutions.
